| The HIBC report provides information on relevant topics of the UDI Conference 2010 in Baltimore. Unique Device Identification (UDI), that is, the globally unique identification of health care products, is given a new meaning. The binding legal regime for UDI in the U.S. is expected for spring 2011. This applies in particular medical device manufacturers, distributors and clinics that operate in the U.S. and International.
